• for  over 12 years, has provided a variety of services and supports to people with an intellectual disability to access and secure jobs in the community by utilizing various methods such as:  

  • work experiences

  • job coaching

  • job developing

  • job maintenance

  • transit route support

  • supports co-ordination

• provides pre-employment instruction in such areas as:

  • Preparing for the work day

  • Workplace manners and boundaries

  • Learning and doing the job

  • Integrity at work

  • The interview—getting your foot in the door

  • Avoiding trouble on the job

  • Job safety and behaviours related to promotion

• markets its services by building upon its partnerships with businesses, business groups, attending job fairs and community events

• is a member of local, regional and provincial groups such as the Board of Trade, Business Network International, Peel Job Development Group, and Ontario Rehabilitation Work and Community
